Dosnt seem like that big of a deal.  the second club does not want to exclude w/o actual proof, other than word of mouth (he said she said), if i understand this correctly.  Without that proof he is in the club?

So let him participate

Or just exclude him without the documentation.

I must be oversimplifying the whole thing.

No doubt I am missing something there, but to me you either do or you dont just that simple

Could it be that Club B enjoys the drama and contraversy already?

by karen forbes on 16 April 2011 - 13:04

Or maybe Club B feels ready for the challenge.

One of the problems, troublelynx, is that it causes stress in a club when the membership is divided over an issue. The stress increases when a member or members of Club B attempt to involve another club in the "drama" however unintentionally. That is especially true if a member of Club B should become so wound up and desperate as to engage in questionable conduct to obtain support and open old wounds with members of Club A. Some subscribe to the old adage that the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Personally, I feel that the enemy of my enemy is, at best, a temporary ally, until time proves otherwise. I think the new phrase is "frenemy." but I don't have much contact with teenagers, so I am not sure. :-)

Mystere, if it's any help, the 17 year old next door to me uses the term frenemy. :)

I have never worked with person X, nor do I ever intend to. X seems like way more trouble than X is worth. Maybe this is something our clubs can come together on to keep X from screwing with every club in our region?

I'd PM you, but I'm blocked.

"Every"club? Please. There are people in this region who have welcomed convicted felons who have committed fraud using clung members' names. The felons have been kowtowed to,supported by, and had surprising individuals lie for them. So, X is hardly the greatest evil clubs here have seen. And, I haven't mentioned the certifiable sociopaths among us. :-) Mudwick : use FB
