That's what I see too..

Their website has quite a few data errors.. links that don't work, names that don't match..  probably a work still in progress..

The dog in the trial photo is actually "Azlan"..

I don't think they have a haus Dooling dog..  totally different lines/kennel..  perhaps at one time they did???

I have no idea what the connection is to any dog you have..

Either way, the pedigree data base doesn't police individual websites.. that would be up to the web host of the offending website.
That would be assuming they were actually using a picture that you have copyright to..  which nobody here can see..

I searched the entire site, and find no photo of your dog...  maybe you could post an active link???

I was nicely insulted when she directed a question at me asking if I found it because, "it isn't that hard to find."   So I guess its not just me. Thats I why I asked her to post a link or copy and paste the web address to the page SHE SAW HER dog's picture. She has yet to do that.  I thought she would understand I meant the actual address from the address bar.

I mentioned her pic is of a sable puppy, but yet the parents are shown to both be blk/tan... Confused Smile

I GIVE UP!  It is what is it!

Hutchins, yes your notice of contradicting pups sable color to what both parents (black/tans) could produce was correct and very quick

Here's my theory: I did a pretty thorough web search, and the only reference I can find to a dog named "Counselor Haus Dooling" is the one on the Blue Panther site. There was a C-litter v Haus Dooling, but nowhere is there any mention of a dog named Counselor from that litter. Doesn't mean he doesn't exist--just means he's not listed on anything a web crawl can find, and there's no web pictures of him to be had, either.

As DenWolf's already pointed out, the picture that's now on the Blue Panther site under Counselor's name is the same picture that's on the page for their dog Azlan; in fact, if you right click the version on Azlan's page, and then click on Properties, the photo title is 'azlan_bitework'...so I'm pretty sure it's a picture of him.

I think the Blue Panther folks went looking for a sort of generic sable working line dog, one that wasn't titled and [they thought] probably wouldn't be recognized, and which looked similar enough to the sire of the litter that they could get by with it without anyone noticing or objecting. Still not the right thing to do, mind you--but they wouldn't be the first ones to do it, either. And then when Love Thy Shepherds got wind of it and complained to them, they removed her dog's picture [if it was her dog's picture...since none of us saw it, we'll not know if it was just a similar enough shot to her dog's photo, or if it really was him] and put a shot of their black & tan showline male's bitework--which is shot from a distance, and doesn't give a full, stretched body shot of the dog, in it's place.

Love Thy Shepherd wasn't refreshing her browser, so she kept seeing the version that was cached, while we all saw only the revised page.

In any event, the picture's changed now, though technically, Blue Panther is still not showing a photo of the purported sire of their litter...but at least it seems to be a picture of their own dog this time, so there's that.

Dunh-dunh-dunh!  And another case is solved by...PDB Investigates!  Thumbs Up

OK, now I can go to bed, "LOTR: The Two Towers" is over.  I do dearly love watching the movies in that trilogy.  Wonder when "The Hobbit" will open up here in the hinterlands?

I wonder how many times this same thing happens, but the owner of the stolen or "borrowed" picture never finds out. I am not one that is constantly looking for for things like that. Just as I am not one to look on a regular bases to see if any comments have been added.  Perhaps we should all make it a point to check out things like this. Although lately I have been keeping an eye on the classifieds as we are thinking about importing another.  Other than that, I come here once or twice a week.

Threads like this make me want to slap a big watermark across all my pictures. I wonder why the OP couldn't just post a screenshot instead of having everyone go on a wild goose chase for the aforementioned picture.
