When checking out any school ask for student references.  See if they are working in the K9 world!  I highly recommend Michael as well!

Depending on training disciplines and philosophies, that is what should be what gears you to a teacher. If you have the opportunity to train with the inventor or innovator of the art form you are looking to study you should take advantage. I sought out a real personal protection guy that trains CQC with the dogs. His methods and forms are not limited to the dogs but also through the handler teaching protective combative move tactile leash handling but he is a martial artist and security specialist wrapped into the bundle. He trains real dogs for real people but balanced. He performs background checks on students and also any protection student. Check out there website www.workingdogstore.com
