While we're on the topic of changing things on pedigrees, can the admin remove the pics on these two dogs, they don't go to those pedigrees:

Thanks

This, too, given that this is a picture of Bastin vom Koketal, not this dog. Whoever owns this took a picture from Bastin's site on Gary's page or his working dog and used it for their dog. http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/german_shepherd_dog/dog.html?id=749108-bastin-vom-lahnufer

Admin, is there anything we can do about hip and elbow ratings? Looking at dogs lately there are a LOT of false hip and elbow statuses; easy to track with OFA, because if they're normal they're in the database. But I've found a TON lately saying OFA good, not in OFA's database.

The images reported above have been deleted.
Be careful when searching to do advanced search by numbers and any part of name. There are quite a few misspelt names and simple errors over there. You can also report them to us, update the pedigree or, make a comment that you could not find that dog.
Repeatedly having OFA ratings that later show up as non-existant says alot about those that added the information.

Many dogs' names are mispelled in the OFA database as GSD lineage has reported above including a few of my own. Something as seemingly insignificant as an apostrophy can prevent finding a dog in a search. When searching that database I've had better success by using a part of the dog's name that is unique. For example, if searching for Kismet's Sight for Sore Eyes, search using "sore" or "eyes" or "sore eyes". That database contains so much valuable information. You may even be able to find a dog by searching using part of the name of the sire or dam.
Hard for me to believe that anyone would fake an OFA number when it is so easy to verifiy. OB titles, Sch/IPO titles,A stamps, etc much more difficult to verify. When people try to sell dogs that don't even belong to them, why expect all info in the pedigree database to be honest?

They're not mispelled dogs; it's several kennels, and all the dogs from their kennel. It's not one or two. It's all their dogs.

They don't have the OFA number, just put OFA Good on both hips and elbows.

How unethical. It's easy to see who added this false information. Just pull up the pedigree and click on the box that shows who made the changes. It might be good to see their screen names listed here so we know who is trustworhy and who isn't.
