Lanhua, I would have them taken off - not sure if you realise that there's two types they can be... 1] attached by skin, called the loose ones 2] the others are ones attached by bone.
My Border Collie had the loose ones and I had them removed when he went in to be neutered at 17 months old. He only ever caught one when he did an ultra quick turn.
Now the bad part, which has been mentioned... keeping the dressings on, I was back at the vets every day for the first seven days as he would rip the dressings off and pull out the stitches, little bugger could get round to them even wearing a buster collar. He could even get a buster collar off.
Finally they healed and stitches came out and within an hour he was back at the vets as both incisions had popped open! This time he had 3 staples put in each incision, next morning, one incision had ½ a staple in it and the other 1½ staples.... so back to the vet for more staples. By this time I was becoming a tad pee'd off, so for the next 10 days I never let him out of my sight and even had him sleeping on my bed [he still does sleep there] and eventually they healed.
As mentioned, I would have them off your puppies asap as it would be far less traumatic for them and 1 suture would probably suffice...
Good luck
