I would NEVER! recommend any dog from this place. Scammers. Nothing more.

Why such strong words?

Well, they still STILL have my DEAD dog, Isko zu den Drei Wieken, on there website. And the picture they have on the first link isn't even Isko. He died in 2007, it was an issue before he died, I had even bigger issues with it -after!- he died, because he was still listed as "for sale."

I'm not the first person who's called them out on fraudulent dogs for sale, pictures, etc. Probably won't be the last. Wouldn't have been so bad if they removed him when I asked, but the fact they haven't? Yeah, not exactly ranking high on the ol' Integrity Meter there.

Remember, just because someone is asking a certain price doesn't mean they will sell the dog for that price.

A short answer would be is because theirs no price restrictions. People can charge whatever they want for their dogs, and if people are willing to pay then they will keep selling their dogs for that amount.

Same goes for these breeders charging $3000+ for these "VA" parented puppies. Fleischerheim is still in the dog/puppy business because people are willing to pay the outragous price that he is asking for on his website. I do give him credit for putting up his price list while many other breeders hides their price list (I wonder why??!?).

Hello people Its obvious why his price is so high! Hes been through the Florida dog training academy.

by wrestleman on 01 September 2011 - 15:09

Its that price because the seller thinks he can find someone that is willing to pay that price.

when you ask that sum for a dog, that has been in "training", than I'm, sure he would not mind you coming yourself and testing him. Get your own opinion on the dog, or take someone that knows more than you. If I was a betting man, and I were to go and test that dog, I wouldn't want him, if he was free, I will not bash, but I have yet to hear one positive word on the FDA Academy, I know he buys dogs very cheap, which tells me alot, good dogs are not cheap, I don't care where you buy them. If he tested well and was healthy, could stand a little heat, good nerves, drives, etc, bred OK(notice I said,  just OK would be fine), then $4500, is fair IMO, but I doubt this would be the case.
