T& Ts
So right, If the Pups are vaccinated at the right time there is no cause for this concern, To many on here who do not believe in Vaccinating for this and that, they are not the dogs who will contract any problems they are just the judge and jury because they say it breaks down this and that in the Dogs, Poppycock My dogs have had all regular Vaccinations over the Years the one to pass on soonest was 13.5 years old all the others older,
It seems to me by the way some talk in here that the Vets in the USA are Pure Crap shoot Vets, If this is the case then animal lovers should be doing something to change this because it certainly is not the same over here

Yes, unfortunately here in Canada we have some vets, too, that only want to make the big bucks and sell everything possible on the market. Unfortunately not everyone gets informed enough what is really necessary (as to basic immunization) and what is not. Same with the big supplementing story...but that's a different topic....

There is no free lunch.
There is a price to pay for the vaccinations. There is a much bigger price if you don't.
Nothing is without consequences and there is no perfect world.
I want my puppy to live and be healthy. So, I am careful and provide lots of opportunities for Mariah to get socialized.

Vaccinations -
I goggled "affordable veterinarian" and found 2 in my area that will do each of the puppy shots for 25$ a round and rabies for 30$.
My last vet was 126.75$ each!
Gotta shop around......

SitasMom.. Really??? Our vet vaccinates DHPP for $12, and Rabies $10... for just vaccinations there is NO office visit. $25 HW test as well.
To have all vaccinations done on a young dog was like $45.

It costs over here to give one vaccination to a dog about 85 USA dollars, and that's it, nothing to be said about it because they will not drop the price you pay or the dog goes without, and if that is the case then the owner should not be keeping a dog,
The Dog cannot tell you it is up to a responsible owner to do the right thing by the dog

Neopar - 5 weeks old , higher titers than all other vaccines.. http://www.neotechvaccines.com/titer.htm
You can buy it from Revival Animal Health online. 10 dosage vial $32 , or 1 dosage for 3.99... Prevents a lot of heart ach.. http://www.neotechvaccines.com/label.htm
Tested safe as early as 3 weeks old, reccomended for normal use at 42 days old. We have been giving this at 5 weeks old for a while, and have not had complaints of Parvo.
We revaccinate at 8 weeks before they go home with a Galaxy 5 way.
Its really importiant to realize that the final 14-16 week old vaccine is the most importiant for lifetime immunity. A friend of mine walked his dog at 7 months old, the dog was UTD vaccinated, and it still got Parvo. He didn't use our vaccines, and he had his dog vaccinated at a Vet. The Vet's office would not push the manufactuer to pay for the treatment.

I use Neopar also and haven't had any parvo in my litters. It overcomes maternal antibodies to give protection at an early age. It is also effective against all mutant strains of parvo. I haven't found any vets who use this vaccine probably because it's not a combo vaccine which is what I prefer anyway.
