Chillmaster001, I feel your pain. I trained my girl Isis since she was 12 weeks old and then took her for her OFA x-rays right before our first trial when she was 2 years old. I was given the bad news that she was born without a left hip and there is nothing but muscle, tendon, ligaments holding her joint in place. The space between her smooth pelvis (no socket) and deformed ball of the hip was pretty astounding. She also had dysplasia in her right hip. I wanted to title her and then breed her to our big male. Needless to say, she was spayed the following week. We finished her first trial with a fourish (she is SO flashy) and then trained only as much as she could without causing her discomfort. We still "train" although not as much and we swim (she loves swimming and will take herself if I let her). I feel for her since she is such an intense dog and LOVES training and working.
