Not the worst I've heard of, but close. The "Rare Blue German shepherd" program was the bottom of the barrel for moi.

Okay, just spent waaaayyyy too much time on her site, did you all see her hip dysplasia page where she rates her own x-rays?? Gotta good laugh out of that one....one way to save herself some dough I guess...pretty scary stuff she's got on there, GSDs/ malamutes/akitas/mastiffs/rottweilers/ etc to form this "breed"....I haven't even gotten to look at the prices yet LOL!! Scary stuff!

wow for spending waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to much time on her side u sure did not understand what u been reading as u dont seem to have read that a lot of the breeds she inter breed with are NOT in her lines anymore, and also that they where interduced in to seperate lines to see what they will produce and how the pups developed before getting them in to her main line .... and most out crosses did not even made it to that point ...

AMERICAN ALSATIANS bred soley as companion dogs.
LOW prey drive, laid back, non aggressive, non
barkers. silver wolf sables with yellow eyes. Dark
pigmentation. med coats, thick in the winter,
sheds out in the summer. males get 100 lbs xtra
large skulls. No prey drive, can be around farm
animals.These dogs do NOT:
dig,bark,whynn,chew,chase. Low energy, heavy
boned, large heads, big paws, yellow eyes, wolf
gray in color. The breed of the new
millinium! visit our web site for more information on this RARE dog.
"
I don't find this sad per se, without knowing more.
But I do have two issues.
First, it is with "The breed of the new millinium! "
Too presumptive, I say different stroke for different folks within a breed called the German Shepherd Dog.
Second, while dogs at just about 100 pounds can be healthy structurally, it is not a good idea to aim for over 100 pounds, as some will get to be 110 pounds.
Some people like high drive in a GSD, some like a softer and mellower GSD. As long as the breeder is honest, a GSD pup buyer gets want he wants.

Though I don't breed dogs, and know nothing about that aspect, I do know one thing....bastardizing breeds the way this woman has, should be criminal. My head was spinning attempting to wade through her garbage website...and the fact that she has the attention span of a tsisi fly when it comes to committing to a breed, blows my mind. That aside, what also struck me, is she has ZERO credibility when it comes to scent discrimination training. Love this:
"Private one on one lessons to teach you how to work with your dog as you locate lost articles, missing children, felons, potential hazards to the community such as bombs, narcotics labs and even alcohol. Anything you want to train your dog for, you can! (40.00 hr.)
Sell your working dogs for thousands of dollars once your dog is dead on the target. Learn how to be able to trust your dog and work as a team.
(If you would like me to train your dog for you we would need to discuss what it is you exactly wanted, then we would have to come up with a monthly fee for training and or boarding if that is what you wanted to do. You could always bring the dog to me on weekends or what have you.)"
Sorry....but this woman shouldn't even own a pet rock, nor should she be teaching anything to anyone!

Max is rolling in his grave... again.

by ShelleyR on 16 March 2011 - 21:03
I take it back after visiting that crazy person's wensite...
That IS the worse intentional breeding program involving the GSD I have ever seen. I wonder how many of those pups end up in shelters, impossible to identify as anything but mutts?
Alsation my ass.

"Max is rolling in his grave... again."
Would this long dead German guy roll in his grave when very very few of the GSDs do S, herding that is?

Hey High DesertGSD: I don't think so because even during Max v Stephanitz' life time, he saw Germany was becoming more industrial less pastoral. It's my understanding he was the one who thought GSDs would be a great asset for both police departments and the military, thus saving his beloved breed from becoming obsolete.
