Yea swimming and socializing young dogs is always fun and good for them. I like having a puppy around the house again.

Dawgs: If after your seminar, you could come back here and tell us about it, I know many people would be very interested in hearing all about what goes into the making of a SAR dog. All I do know is it is intense and hard, but I would relish reading about it and all your experiences to date and in the future in the training of a SAR dog and handler team.

I've had my pup tracking since she was 8 weeks old. She has decided that tracking is her reason for living. She is now at six months awesome on the track and a pleasure to work with. She is on an absolutely loose lead and wants to be left alone to do the track. It's like: "Leave me alone, I can do it myself, Mom!" And she can and does.

No field obedience yet, but started the tug work when her teeth were finally in. It has changed her personality. Before, she just wanted to fight with me. But now that we do the tug work together, it's like, "Wow, this is big fun, and we are the TEAM!"

She is a wonderful pup and I'm so fortunate to have her to work with. She came to me as a little miracle and I'm really looking forward to competing with her.
