I had hope to have Molly ready for her SchI this June, but think I will have to wait until the fall.  Bad weather - no time to track and now we have had to take the past two weeks off on vets orders due to her lost bark.  I was hoping to get back to training Saturday.  Still have alot to work on - combining the dumbell work with the jump and retrieve.  We are still in the let's make it fun and hold mode.

I do have plans to finish Libby's Rally Excellent title in early April and will be showing Molly for her Rally Advanced title as well.  I have also been training Molly for the CDX, so if all goes well it will be a fun season and hopefully some nice titles by the end of the year.

I need to get the pesky BH out the way with my young dog too.  I hope to be able to get a 1 on him before the year is out, but you never know!

Let's see, a BH and poodle cut for Trigger. Then have his hips x-rayed and get a show rating. Looks like Dana won't be coming home, so looking for another dog. I think the lady changed her mind about giving Dana back because of her bad hips. I called several times to set up a day/time to pick her up (a 4 hour drive from here) and was told she would get back to me. Haven't heard anything in over a month now. I have a whole lot of respect for those who do the hard work and title their own dogs. I plan to "cheat" and find one that is already titled.

I will do with my little girl ( daughter of my female ) the BH in Autumn. She is now 9 month and learns wonderful and easy. I love her! Hopefully she will do it right in Autumn ;-) . Before of course x-ray when she is 12 month.

Young dogs. So frustraiting when they are too young to do much with but better than old and will soon be gone. I keep telling myself that and to slow down, enjoy this time too. 18 months and 10 weeks. I have my hands full but not trialing yet. There will be lots of places to go, learning to swim, learning the small stuff, bring the damn ball back puppy!

I think with this dog I might even be able to get an  FH one day.  I don't know whether this dog is more biddable or if my training skills are getting better, combination of both or just dumb luck, but I have never had a dog that was so much fun to track.
