That may be the answer, but I am so dumb about computers that I hate to try to download another browser just to delete pm's here. What are you using, Paul?

I was just able to open & read an old PM I got back last March (2012);
have not tried to delete it though. Am using Chrome too, if it
does make any diff ? The thing I don't much like about PMs
since the last site overhaul - sorry Oli - is that we used to be
able to delete a new post if we had just sent it and realised something
was wrong in it or we had double-posted, and I can't see a way to
do that anymore.

To my knowledge there has never been a way to delete a post for members. Double posts or errors can be marked by making an abuse report with clear instructions on what you want edited. I sent Oli an email on the PMs but he is busy working on a project so not sure when he will have time to look at the problem.

I use Opera and I have no problems with the funcion of this forum. I do not use my messaging system here much either so perhaps that helps.

Dear admin,

Nothing much is working for me this morning. I can't edit, I had no emotion icons (they're back now). I still can't get the avatar I want to show up and I can't get rid of the old one although it's not visible here. I haven't checked my mailbox yet, so not sure what's going on there.

PS: Now I can edit
