Kalibeck

Ill second what has been said, give the dog a chance. This dog doesn't know you from Adam, doesn't know if the next thing she does is gonna tic you off, maybe is missing her former handler or pack...get to know her, let her get to know you, & her new environment.
i try to think how they must feel....I give great respect to a dog that can come off a plane, out of a crate & be 'on' from the get-go...but not everyone can deal like that...I know I couldn't! Dogs that fly a lot still have their familiar team to greet them...it says a lot that your girl is not a snarling mess or shut down.
give her a chance to warm up! And forgive me for the typos, stupid phone! jackie harris

I agree with both RLHAR and Kali. Only I don't believe in with holding food for training.....but that's just me.

Just cut back on meals long enough to increase her interest in the treats since she doesn't seem interested in treats.  During initial training, lots of treats are used so she should be hungry to motivate her.  I don't mean to starve her, but cut back a little on her portions :)

If so, then NOT east..

Breeder/broker sells a LOT of dogs around the net..  takes nice pics.. good marketing..

Probably will be fine for what you want to do, have the group you intend to work with evaluate the temperament and nerve.
A clear-headed solid dog with good nerve can advance well even though it has little to no imprinting or early shaping.

I get soooo many "DDR inquiries" even on litters that have no DDR blood. It's truly a mystery as to how these ideas get proliferated.

Pretty dog, regardless of what she is, and I hope the OP does decide to give her a chance. A "one person" dog, for example (not saying this is what she is) will take longer to warm up to a stranger. This doesn't mean the dog is terrified of anything; it simply means the dog's not wearing its heart on its sleeve. Given time, they'll come around. I have hope for this one, since she doesn't seem to be doing anything really nutty.

I, too hope the OP gives this girl some more time to adjust, settle in and show her true self.  As they bond more and more each day, I suspect the OP may be pleased with the progression.  Everything takes some time and effort...
