Crappy training decent dog. You push much more and she will start backing up she needs to be brought along a bit more and given more wins. You need to work on the bite and get her calmer and more confident.

ruger i was not taking it as an insult i was concerned he thought there was too much stress/pressure on the dog or thought it was cruel, thats what brutal implies to me, hope he clarifies.

haz this is not training it is testing, i know you guys train, train, train and then test, sorry i do the other way round, i test then train.

one more set of tests to go and if i decide to go on in this work with this dog then yes training will begin with rewards etc. not a lot of back up in that dog from what i could see?

no biggie but she is a he,

Testing is important when selecting a candidate, but, pushing a green dog too hard will only backfire on you my friend and the end result will not be pretty or what you want to see.

Geez i would like to see what you guys come up with in those child join the dots games. i am not trying to break my dog. I know my own dogs i bred that pup i know what went into him better than you know yr own selves. his moms is a nasty bitch and was never trained, the pup got some dirt in him i will just show him where to direct it and how to control it. you guys been around these made dogs too long.

Some learn by just hearing, others have much work to do...the Buddha said that, good luck in your training.

Good hard work with your dog,,,you need to eat  your Wheaties for sure...Just calm the boy down a bit after the bite and do not let him get FRAZZLED over biting , is all they guys are trying to get you to see....   DO you put your pup in a kennel after the bite to let him THINK and cool down???Try it...for 30 mins while you rest or work another pup....it works wonders and it helps the dog know he has to listen and then be more calm and be ready for another go at the reward...Praise, Praise and Praise all the way to the kennel for his calm down period ..then take him home and play a game with his toys....
