BW - why do you make it out as if I am talking about a large number of people in that post? I don't believe I mentioned anything about numbers. Also, I never mentioned anything about diminishing accomplishments - you are being extreme in your INCORRECT extrapolation, lol.

by Bavarian Wagon on 02 June 2017 - 16:06

dukey...yet again, trying to say I said something I never did.

Lets see the proof dukey...quote me where I ever tried to get you to do things "my way." Or even mentioned that the way you choose to do things is wrong. Come on dukey....you have interweb skills, you can do it!

Here's an idea dukey...lets stop making statements to try to destroy someone else's reputation (even an internet one) without actually having proof of them saying what you're claiming. How's that sound dukey? Does that seem like a good idea and a good way to have open and informative conversation?

by duke1965 on 02 June 2017 - 17:06

touched a nerve there I guess

I copied and pasted from your last post, but guess you didnot write that LOL

also what can I destroy on anonymous posters reputation, lighten up,

I just tought it was funny that you wrote that, thats all

dukey...let's not play dumb and play games. You posted that because you're INSINUATING that I try to push my life style on others. So I ask you...quote me where I've done that. Where have I ever said you have to do things "my way." You don't actually even know my way...so it's probably unlikely that I've done that. So come on dukey, no more games, put your internet abilities where your mouth is. You want to make claims about me, go ahead, back them up with something. Don't play the same game you play with your dog videos.

by duke1965 on 02 June 2017 - 17:06

WOW lot of frustration there , read my last post again, there is nothing more to it

You are taking this way tooooo serious Wink Smile

and at least I have some videos of my work, and results from my breeding to show

have a good one

by Bavarian Wagon on 02 June 2017 - 17:06

dukey...I have those things too...

YOU don't have them, and just because YOU don't have them, doesn't mean they don't exist.

"have a good one" = "I've run out of facts"

by duke1965 on 02 June 2017 - 18:06

back on topic, watered down sport

lets list some facts that are happening ore talked about

gunshot out of BH (breedingrequirement)

sit out of motion out of BH

certain people(FCI/IPO)   try to change different exercises from "drive "exercises to clean obedience exercises

Bark and hold

Apport,(not throwing the dumbell anymore)

taking stickhits out

points down for dog that acts not happy on trail (compulsion)

in some interview in sporthonden one judge wrote : we are improving as we dont see any dogs anymore biting the helpers anywhere else than the sleeve

face it, the SPORT is getting more and more important, not that there is anything wrong with that in itself, but when you take a breed that was orriginal a guarding/protecting breed, and you take the natural ability to guard and protect out you just have  "another " breed

BW - you are nothing more than an internet bully. I will NOT respond to your posts or questions or comments or attacks on what I write. In fact, I hope there is a way to "ignore" because that's exactly what I am going to do to you. Peace, out.

back on topic, watered down sport

lets list some facts that are happening ore talked about

gunshot out of BH (breedingrequirement) – gunshot is still in the IPO1 (the actual breeding requirement) this was also covered in a prior post of why the BH requirements had changed

sit out of motion out of BH – sit out of motion is still in the IPO1 (the actual breeding requirement) this was also covered in a prior post of why the BH requirements had changed

certain people(FCI/IPO)   try to change different exercises from "drive "exercises to clean obedience exercises – method of training, nothing to do with the rules, not mandated by the rules of the sport itself, personal choice of trainer

Bark and hold – what about the bark and hold? Last I checked it was still in there

Apport,(not throwing the dumbell anymore) – actually, you are still throwing the dumbbell…10 meters will just be clearly marked so that people try to throw the dumbbell a similar distance and not give an advantage to their dog if it needs more/less room to come straighter or if the further they throw the more drive/speed the dog shows or if it will only go a certain shorter distance

taking stickhits out – stick hits aren’t out. Countries where stick hits are not allowed by law will not have to do them, and if those countries host a world championship, the helpers will not need to hit the dog, but if any other country where stick hits aren’t prohibited by law hosts the world championship, the stick hits are still in. Countries themselves can decide what their qualifying events will do (use them or not) and most will most definitely still include them.

points down for dog that acts not happy on trail (compulsion) – how does that “water down the sport?” They want to see a happy/active dog? Make sure that the dog will actively track and not just do it because it’s been forced to? Yeah…that makes sense as something that “waters down the sport.”

Great information provided for the world!

Duke: Apport,(not throwing the dumbell anymore)

So how does the dumbell get out there? Does the judge set it out on the ground, or what?
Were too many handlers not able to throw the dumbbell beyond the obstacle because they are getting weak as the breed gets weak, too?
