Mali don,t take the(shit)  hit  from the helper, dog counter directly to other arm where  he get beaten
with the whip/stick. I,m almost  pretty sure this was not the first time dog make some damage  . Great dog  good example  serious dog.

Hope I see it well second bite was very  low on the sleeve I think there was a cut in the video there was  something happen  before what  we don,t see this was also a trigger  to react?

Anasilva, you got the correct video I was trying to put up.
Yogi, I don't know what's up with YouTube links, but the ones blitzen made live for me are not the one I wanted.
I posted it to show you a dog biting without protection...pretty bad.
Anasilva, no, he was not asking to get bitten. A sport dog is supposed to focus on the sleeve and not change the grip. A dog like the one in the video is a thinking dog and is protecting himself by stopping the hits...that is a maneuver that a self proclaimed police dog trainer says is sign of poor training and weaknerves, that he 'absolutely' does not train his police k9s to change bite locations. This dog in the video wasn't trained to do that, its genetics. I have dogs that are natural like that dog, so is the op's dog natural, will shift to a different part of the decoy while in fight drive. When the dog is biting a bad guy in real life fight, the maneuver this dog made could be preventing a knife stab.

Just seen it's quick change as soon as other hand moved super bite no hesitation no soft grip. Dog not in panic clear thinking dog love it.

Black Mali, super dog. I think the video was showing the first send to the blind for bite, then the second time, dog was on sleeve at the end near hand, as soon as decoy raised his right arm, the dog is already looking up and is off the sleeve, intercepted the right arm before the hit. Sure, the dog knew the arm coming down is going to have a connect to dog's body with stick...dog says, NO! In a big way. Haha.
Love that dog.
Decoy needs a suit, not sleeve for that dog.

by joanro on 05 August 2015 - 18:08

That's what I saw, yogi. I stopped the video just after the dog hit the sleeve. Dog is looking up when decoy moved right arm.

Good observation Joanro

The dog already knew what he,s is gonna do ................... thats why I try to say I like also to see whats
happen before the cut in the video. Idd it will be more  safer on the suit hahahaha

by joanro on 05 August 2015 - 18:08

I bet the decoy got some good hits in before. Testing the dog how strong is his commitment. Dog then is testing the decoy's commitment. Hahaha.
