There are a GREAT MANY GSDs bred in this world still, without
reference to HD, ED, DM, Epilepsy or anything else you care to
name. A (small) proportion of those get to prove themselves as
even competent working or sport dogs, let alone top-drawer
specimens. A larger proportion seem to pass on the above
conditions to their offspring or grand-get. Like Susie I see no
shortage of dogs or reason to compromise the health of the
Breed any further by NOT taking these factors on board, albeit
in an EDUCATED and SENSIBLE breeding programme.
