Can anyone help with the SV database. I have just joined up.

I have noticed there are a lot of CMKU dogs on there however because they are not SV registered the note comes up "Not bred in SV, no claim to be complete"

Why are these dogs even put on the database then?

Some dogs have HD and ED results and others have just a dash -

Does a - mean the dog has failed?

they are usually part of a SV registered dogs pedigree, but the SV does not have the pedigree for the Czech dog. Again the - just means that the SV does not have the hip information. Unless the SV has a valid CZ pedigree with the information from the CZ Repub;ic it will not enter it in it's database.

Dogs are entered in the database because they are a validated part of the pedigree. think about it. when entering a pedigree, you will always reach a point where you will. not have that dogs information. GSD's originated over 100 years ago.
