On Nov 6 vote responsibly because we can't affor the sequel
When you stop and consider the ramifications from one term with the current administration (i.e. Bailouts, Stimulus, Blagojevich, Czars, Voter Intimidation, Obamacare, Fast and Furious, Solyndra, LightSquared, AttackWatch.com, Libya, Voter Fraud, Boeing, Dodd-Frank, Taxation, Immigration, Dream Act, Pakistan, Occupy Wall Street, NDAA 1031, Keystone XL Pipeline, NLRB Appointments, Iran, Contraception, and still no Budget…), you have to seriously consider what could be “accomplished” in a second term when this administration won't be worried about reelection.
Think about it

i'm confused.......i just read the enumerated powers within the constitution........and I just don't see anything about "restrain the abusive from harming the weak, provide reasonable programs to help the unemployed get back on their feet and keep monopolies, provide help to the sick, elderly and seriously disabled".......
The federal government has (supposed to have) limited powers - it was designed to be "small" and not a burden on our nation and the citizens who live within it.......isnt it?
The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States;
To borrow money on the credit of the United States;
To regulate Commerce with foreign Nations, and among the several States, and with the Indian Tribes;
To establish a uniform Rule of Naturalization, and uniform Laws on the subject of Bankruptcies throughout the United States;
To coin Money, regulate the Value thereof, and of foreign Coin, and fix the Standard of Weights and Measures;
To provide for the Punishment of counterfeiting the Securities and current Coin of the United States;
To establish Post Offices and Post Roads;
To constitute Tribunals inferior to the supreme Court;
To define and punish Piracies and Felonies committed on the high Seas, and Offenses against the Law of Nations;
To raise and support Armies, but no Appropriation of Money to that Use shall be for a longer Term than two Years;
To provide and maintain a Navy;
To make Rules for the Government and Regulation of the land and naval Forces;
To provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions;
To provide for organizing, arming, and disciplining, the Militia, and for governing such Part of them as may be employed in the Service of the United States, reserving to the States respectively, the Appointment of the Officers, and the Authority of training the Militia according to the discipline prescribed by Congress;
To exercise exclusive Legislation in all Cases whatsoever, over such District (not exceeding ten Miles square) as may, by Cession of particular States, and the acceptance of Congress, become the Seat of the Government of the United States, and to exercise like Authority over all Places purchased by the Consent of the Legislature of the State in which the Same shall be, for the Erection of Forts, Magazines, Arsenals, dock-Yards, and other needful Buildings; And
To make all Laws which shall be necessary and proper for carrying into Execution the foregoing Powers, and all other Powers vested by this Constitution in the Government of the United States, or in any Department or Officer thereof.Note that many amendments explicitly grant Congress additional powers. For example, the Sixteenth Amendment grants the power to "lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived".

At the time of conception the fetus has all the genetic material to be a unique individual person. When does life begin? Are you waiting for a heartbeat? I guess it's "above our paygrade."
Rape is more than "unwanted sexual intrusion." In NY rape includes unforced sex when the victim is considered incapable of giving informed consent, such as when they are underage, disabled, or under the influence of drugs or alcohol. It can be a very serious charge when the perpetrator exploits the victim's age or incapacity. But sometimes "statutory" rape is a crime only because one partner meets the criteria. When sex between willing partners becomes "rape" because of a statute, it is hard to equate it with the trama of a violent assault. Like sex between a 15 year old boy and his 22 year old teacher is not what many people consider "legitimate" rape even though it actually is. I don't think it can be assumed that the implication was that women lie.

The World Health Organization (WHO) defines accessibility as “a measure of the proportion of the population that reaches appropriate health services” (WHO Regional Office). Research indicates that access to health services is closely linked to the affordability, physical accessibility, and acceptability of services, and is not based merely on the adequacy of service supply (Gulliford et al. 2002). Access to health services, including health prevention and promotion, means that people have the power to demand appropriate health resources in order to protect or improve their health. A certain population may ‘have’ access to specific health services, while other groups within this population encounter obstacles while trying to ‘gain’ access to such services. Social, financial and cultural barriers limit the availability and affordability of health services for such groups. (WHO Regional Office).
Micaho - As WHO mentioned, many do not have access to adequate health care because of demographics. Many women that are considered working poor or unemployed can not access adequate health care for a number of reasons such as the local clinic may have closed due to loss of funding or is located somewhere else and to get there is a logistical nightmare. I have worked in poor areas and what many people have to go through to get to a clinic is unbelievable and when they do finally make it, there may not be a doctor at the clinic because the doctor volunteering may have to cover multiple clinics or the line of people waiting is unimaginable. There may not be adequate equipment or medication because funding was cut. Face it, the poor are something many don't want to deal with and prefer they would just shut up and go away and not make their presence known. Most of the people below the poverty level are women and many of those women have children.
Sistasmom, Department of Justice, Journal of Preventative Medicine, and Centers for Disease control all agree that less than 2% of the rapes reported are as you decribed (as a means of getting back at someone) and that less than 2% is of the 8-16% of rapes reported (84-92% of rapes go unreported), that means the percentage of actual rapes used as payback is a staggeringly small amount of the total rapes that occur. Majority of rapes are perpetrated by someone the victim knew and are all about power, not sex as many mistakenly believe.
As for the "unwanted tissue" issue, I prefer to go with science, which trumps wishful thinking in my book any day on this matter.
Bottom line is republicans are staging an unprecedented attack on women. They are also going after the elderly, poor, and disabled.

Meanwhile mindhunt tells how she feeeeels.............
The Obama years have been brutal on middle-class incomes.
The Presidential race is boiling down to one dominant issue: which party's policies will do more to help the financially stressed American middle class. President Obama's campaign theme is that Mitt Romney and the Republicans cater to the rich, while Mr. Obama cares about struggling families.
He may care (doubtful), but he sure hasn't done much for them. New income data from the Census Bureau, tabulated by former Census income specialists at the nonpartisan economic consulting firm Sentier Research, reveal that the three-and-a-half years of the Obama Presidency have done enormous harm to middle-class households.

It's about the economy!!!!...............................
A University of Colorado analysis of state-by-state factors leading to the Electoral College selection of every U.S. president since 1980 forecasts that the 2012 winner will be Mitt Romney.
The key is the economy, say political science professors Kenneth Bickers of CU-Boulder and Michael Berry of CU Denver. Their prediction model stresses economic data from the 50 states and the District of Columbia, including both state and national unemployment figures as well as changes in real per capita income, among other factors.
“Based on our forecasting model, it becomes clear that the president is in electoral trouble,” said Bickers, also director of the CU in DC Internship Program.

Also, have you noticed how most of the women shrieking about how the Republicans want to control their bodies are people who no one wants to touch their bodies with ten foot polls?
With the liberal's “There’s a war on women and I’m going to save you from having to go to Walgreens and buy contraception yourself” strategy doesn’t seem to be helping Obama as he’s hitting new lows in the polls. Probably because of things people actually care about like gas prices. Obama desperately wants a lot of distractions to help his chances of reelection, but I’m not sure that any amount of smoke and mirrors can cover how much he sucks at being the president.
Just observations.
