Hello everybody...

i would like u to share with me ur opinions..

Facts:
Mating on Tuesday at 17:00
Progesteron level on Wednesday(1 day after) at 10:00am = 31,3 ng/ml

What do u think ?

Did anyone had a similar experience and how was it?

What were the progesterone levels the day of and the day before the breeding?  What is the level today?  All tests at same time of day?

I'm assuming no medications that could affect.

Were LH levels and temperatures obtained, too?

First day of heat?  How long do her heats normally last?

Previous litters?  Age?

Breed?

Veterinarian involved?  Other tests for timing of ovulation and breeding?

no opinion. please share if successful.

with stud fees at 1K and up, often times hundreds of miles travel and expenses or air travel, I was a firm believer in the tests. and even then all was not always well.

good luck,
Rik

Cause of Oster ,everything was closed ..all labs and vets . that means that we could not make p4 examination before 27/4 at the morning. Age of female is 3 years old. Its her first mating. Mating : 26/4 at 17:00 (estimated day of period = day 13) P4 testing : 27/4 at 09:30 (31,3 ng/ml) ***So normaly the mating took place with p4 < 31,3

Here's an older PDB thread that should be useful.  Read all the posts, not just the one with the table.

https://www.pedigreedatabase.com/community.read?post=664574-progesterone-levels--mating-time

As noted in one of the posts in the above linked thread, make sure you're comparing the same units of measurement

Good luck!
