Scotty, Why do you feel compelled to rain on GSDnewbie's parade? How's about giving the puppy a chance? This owner is really not a newbie to the dog world, she bred SAR dogs for a long time and has a lot of experience in the dog world in general. It ain't her first rodeo, she did her homeword. Shame on you for trying to turn her joy into remorse. Why?

ahh blitz - is this paranoia???? someone asked for hte site - the hit that came up on google is from a big puppy mill board! Why is that raining on someones parade?? We all moan and groan about the way the AKC people have distorted and ruined the breed - now here is what ooks like a NEW kennel who has imported/bought a bunch of titled stuff and Newbie got a pup from their first litter if it is an A puppy! Might be a great puppy - but the breeders look to be like many many GSD breeders in this country - sad to say - just buy up dogs and pump out puppies and charge astronomical prices!! Likely her pup is from titled parents - but serious breeders using sites like this "terrific pets" to advertise are red flags of puppy mills IMHO!!! Not to say you cannot get a good dog from a puppy mill!!! I did actually! GSD Newbie - if I offended you I am sorry! Blitz, no one appointed you bus monitor! The facts are in black and white.

You really didn't have to make that remark "wow, 2 grand for a puppy on a generic for sale board". Do you have a website? No, I have not been appointed the "bus manager" of this list and no one has appointed YOU as the monitor of a breeder you don't even know. I'm not paranoid, it's not my puppy, I'm not the breeder, but thanks for asking. I just have enough sense to not be cruel to others.

One thing is for sure Aleit is sure going to be loved regardless of breeder. Aren't those first moments that dictate the relationship? And what was GSDNewbie's reaction when she first laid eyes on her? ". . . I was thrilled, overjoyed". Well what a lovely reaction to a new family member. There is nothing wrong in taking pleasure in another's joy. GSDNewbie still has a long road ahead in raising and training and developing this dog. And I for one would like to encourage this. Hi Sunshine, I too share in her joy. I'll bet that puppy is already spoiled rotten and sleeping on the couch LOL.

Thank you friends for your words of support. As it so happens if you paid attention, beam me up scotty I only mentioned the breeder and pup on here because so many were having trouble buying well adjusted socialized pups and I have one and she has a pedigree I actually hunted for: Eiko v Haus Hazelda and Hella von der Burg Reichenstein database links to sire and dam: http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/122742.html http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/search.html?main=db&string_in=Hella+von+der+Burg+Reichenstein&index_in=All&results_in=10 4-4 V Uta vom Schlob-Richthof 5-5 V Lasso vom Grauen 5-5 V Mary von der Heidwiese I also chose my breeder because I knew the pup would not be an unsocialized, skittish, freek! The breeder raised a quality pup from the breeding she designed up to the pup she sent to me and that more than tieing two dogs together and making live pups just to ruin them by poor care during what i feel is their most impressionable time determining what they mature to be! What is your problem? cant afford to pay some money but will whine when you don't get a good pup? Or my real idea is you are a "top" breeder kennel and dislike that sombody may make you look like exactly what you are a fancy named glorified puppy broker? I refused to deal with big kennel as I did not want a mass produced puppy! just because you title a kennel full of dogs and somone else only titles and breeds a couple what is the difference other than you must be big kennel threatened by the quality and time a person with fewer can produce and you know what they offer is better and it scares you? She is not a puppy mill she is the only one out of all kennels i inquired to to ask ME what my intentions and living conditions for the pup were? everyone elses just held out their hand and really didnt want to even answer questions much less bother about what sombody would do with their pick of litter puppy! I have alot of experience and know what I wanted in a dog and she supplied it and with honesty, integrity, and a warranty! I can't help it if you find the price deplorable well I wanted quality and it was worth the price to me for it! Shame on you for trying to sap the joy from this time for me no wonder you hide your identity I wouldn't own up to your mentality either. She is gorgeous no matter what she attains and I feel she will be a credit to Eiko! and to set the record straight I paid 2500 plus shipping There are other kennels asked for much much more and they didnt care where their pup was going only gave me their price in answer to my inquiry and enough to tell me how to pay them quickly! That's what I find sad personally!

I was wrong you are not a kennel you dont like the high prices showlines get versus your working line dogs you were looking for somthing to attack on my breeder and myself because of your ideas on prices as you pay much less for your working line dogs. Do you happen to be one of the working line folks I talked to when I was puppy hunting and feel passed over for the showlines and the money i paid for it? I talked to a couple while I was hunting that offered me working pups for 600 - 1000 but i told them politly i have nothing agaisnt working lines its just not what I wanted! If you were one of these folks im sorry but I wanted an eiko pup clear and simple he has what I like and I watched until I saw what I wanted in a female that was mated to him! There are some gorgeous working line dogs out there and i admire their abilities but same as showline there are also some out there I woudnt own either. Conformation is very important to me and I wanted pigmentation I bought what I wanted and I would do it again in a heartbeat!
