You will not pick up at a terminal, you will pick up at a cargo office. Where this is depends on the airline your pup is coming. Do you have the flight information for the puppy's flight? If so and you want to DM it to me I will help you figure out where to go. It's not that tough but it is annoying and time consuming. Your pup will probably not be off the flight for hours once it lands. Plan on a long day and don't book a return flight until you have the puppy in your hands.
I don't recall the specific fees I had to pay at pick up, but it was not too expensive, maybe under $200 or so. I was able to use a debit card. At Boston they made me go drive into the city to get a check from one of those sketchy payday places.
If it's AT ALL possible I'd strongly recommend you fly to Europe and fly your puppy back with you. It will be much cheaper and easier.
