What if it is? All I am saying is let's move on to the next thing. We were an agriculture based society. Then we were part of the Industrial Revolution that made us rich. But our spending policies, living standards, and legal protections don't allow for product price competitiveness. So we invented things... and they got copied... and manufactured elsewhere. These are all predictable developments in a free market. What are the next things? Service jobs, trade? Should we vote for Newt and populate the moon? Why not think about selling energy? It hasn't hurt the Middle East or Russia? Talk about billionaires. Can you imagine leaving manufacturing behind just like we did family farms? It could happen.

I mean American greed is a big reason how we got here, Joanro. I'll betcha if all the wealth in the US (including off shore accounts) was put into one account (that's a metaphor) there would be more than enough money to see that every kid in the US got a good education, had decent clothing and enough food to eat and there would still be plenty left over for the rich to have all their expensive toys.
