I have been waiting quite a while do breed to this dog. We are very excited. Our female is a Quartz grand-daughter and we are expecting a very nice litter from these two. Will have to drive quite a way but think it will be worth it!

This is a very nice male! I have seen him both in work and in show and is indeed impressive! I have also been able to spend time with Ilay in a home environment , as I have recently bred to him. Ilay has super character, temperment and a great attitude. He has crossed very well with the female I have bred to him and I am extremely impressed with this litter. I Look forward to showing some of his progeny soon and in the years to come!!

I would not hesitate to breed to him again!!

This is a stunning male!! I'm looking very foward to seeing him show at the NASS!! I'm hoping to one day acquire one of his female progeny or have the opportunity to breed to him. Congrats to the owner on such a nice male!!!!!

I would like to add my congratulations on Ilay's success in America. This dog greatly impressed me when I first saw him a year ago at the German Kennels he was residing in. I am very pleased to add that I am delighted to be the owner of the pick of litter males out of the repeat mating of Ilay, 'Karo vom Nordkristall'. I must add my gratitude to Ilay's owners for taking care of Karo for me while he was waiting for his Pet Passport to become valid.

I have to agree, Ilay is even more impressive to see in person than he is in his photos! He has perhaps the most masculine head and expression I have seen in a dog, yet has the kind eyes and disposition of a house pet. His work at the NASS was commendable, no sign of the "pet" when it came to the bite work. This gorgeous young dog should provide an attractive alternative to a lot of the popular stud dogs we are seeing today, as his pedigree is free of Ursus, and he goes to Quartz Templari and Ulk Arlett, with Jeck 4,5 and Fedor 5,5. I wish Ilay's owners all the best with this stunning young male.

I have the pleasure of knowing this young male since he was about 12 months old, and have watched him develop into a super first class male, of excellent character and breeding, with strong masculinity and very good pigment. Ilay was shown 2 times in 2006 in working class. He was Vorzüglich 7 (LG-Schau in Kamen Mr. Scheerer) and Vorzüglich 2 (OG-Schau in Westeremstek Mr. Rieker)
Ilay is a very substancial, musculine male, super real pigmentation with excellent temperament and good workability!
Because of personal reasons he could not be shown at this years Siegershow!
Ilay produces so far very nice puppies with very good pigment and body-structure.
He is owned by Ansgar Kartheiser and Giny Timman and is resident in Germany at the Kennel "vom Langenbungert" (www.langenbungert.de)

Overall a good dog. Worth mentioning is his head nad muzzle. I have not seen such a big head and braod muzzle till date. At least that is what appears in the photo. And amazingly there are no dogs in his pedigree ( Like Ursus)which are known for big head and muzzle. Truly extraordinary head and muzzel.
