NIKONIS COLIN V3 British Sieger Event 2005.
Colin achieved for us on Sunday, at the first British Sieger Event, what felt like 1st place to us! Our congratulations to Elan and Champ who finished 1st and 2nd.
Colin was the first British bred dog at the Sieger and had only returned from Germany the previous Monday after gaining his Sch H 2 and Koerung. Colin you did us proud and we are so glad to have you home for the winter to stand at stud.

Colin has now gained Sch 2 and Kkl 1

Hi Preston - have updated another photo of Colin that I hope will be more to your taste. I accept what you say and on reflection it was perhaps not the best photo to use! Don't know how long it will take to update tho'!!

SG1 Nikonis Colin looks like a very attractive dog with great proportions, and with a noticeably long croup that is not too steep. The photo is poor, however and doesn't do the dog justice since he is set up wrong with his shoulder facing forward over his front feet. The front legs should be placed straight vertical instead of sloping forward as they rise. I would like to see a correct photo of this dog since it is very rare to have a long croup that is not too steep (a steep croup tends to cause the GSD to not roll up somewhat in the loin on loose lead and makes it look unattractrive moving not to mention all the wasted energy and the limiting of its range of motion in the rear.

Colin has now returned to the UK to stand at stud until February 2005. He was graded many times SG1 in Germany and made a very good grading in Karlsruhe having beaten many of the dogs in front of him during the year. He has an outstanding character and is rich red and black and is already producing that in his progeny.
