Haughmill does not need to prove anything to you lot!! Read what you want, say what you want!! At the end of the day, their dogs are looked after, healthy, fed and warm.   Unlike some places that you read up about.  So lay off and go rant at people who batter their pets, starve them etc. i bet you all dont even sponser a dog!???! Yous are all too interested in this and whats happening in the ring or on adverts!! Get out of eachothers ar*eholes and get onto Sponser a Dog.com and put ure money to good use!

FAO Watcher. - you have just appeard and YOU havent got the story right!  You wrote -

If you read the artical, or even spoken to both parties you will know that Haughmill tried to register the dogs online for quickness...how could you do that by mistake?? And IF you did speak to both parties, you will have obviously read the KC letter stating that they could??!!! Have you read that?? It even says on the Article on Our Dogs that this letter was shown.
  Whats your priorities with your kennels??? im sure Money is one of them!

Frank I am not involved with the breed at all (just want to state that).. I am on here 1. Seeing what people are writing about my family  2. Enjoying the banter because it gets me away from my everyday life. Unlike some of these folk...this is their life, and i bet they only have 2 dogs between them! The same amount of brain cells!

I no longer use this site haven't been here for some time and had no intention of ever using it again, nut feel compelled to speak. After several emails alerting me to this thread, I could not believe what I was told.
I was involved in the last Haughmill saga, and see nothing has changed from that time.
Everything said about these people is true and I and I hope some others still have all the proof. To call these people the liars here is an unbelievable statement, why on earth would we?
Domenic, you most certainly did participate in the last threads, and many more than myself can confirm that. You now claim to have nothing to do with the breed, is there another Domenic Cowan holding the affix RUFFLEE? I loved your claim on your own website " FAMOUS kennel affix Haughmill" did you forget to insert the "in" before the "famous"? I know there were many reputable breeders who commented on the last threads, hopefully they will confirm the lies being told by Haughmill family.
The sad thing about all of this is they will never admit any of this and will continue to call anyone and everyone else the liars, which is totally untrue. I personally do not, know how any of these people sleep easy at night, but maybe if you lie as much as them you believe the lies eventually.  I sleep very easy knowing I spoke out the last time and again now, sadly they will continue blaming everyone else when the lies fall firmly at their feet.

Although they liked the puppies they were too costly at time time. Mrs Griffiths subsequently contacted them and offered a puppy in partnership at half the original cost. Mrs Griffiths suggested they take two pups (Mr Cowan liked one and his wife another) home with them and that the puppy price on the contracts be noted as £500 each.

Hmmm.......nice big fancy website, lots of different breeds, a shop selling food and goodies and can go away for weekend racing cars (you mentioned it because i as had already pointed you believe you have some status in this world) yet you can't afford 2 dogs, isn't a simialr story you tell to other breeds when trying to get their animals.

After a long delay they got the registration papers through and proceeded to register them online. To allow the addition of their own affix Mr Cowan contacted the KC who advised him to re register the dogs in their name only, add the affix and then register in joint names as agreed originally.

 It was brought to Mrs Griffiths’ notice by the KC on 19th Jan 2009 that the dogs were registered as being owned solely by the Cowans, which was contrary to her wishes and the official registration document she had supplied. She asked why they had registered online and he replied that they had shows to enter so this was the quickest way.

Mrs Grifiths then asked why they had not followed the original route and if they had a supporting document from the KC telling them of the order in which to change the registrations. She pointed out that several entries had been incorrectly made and indeed at Windsor the dogs had been entered solely in the name of Cowan. Mr Cowan explained to the Sheriff that his wife did the entries and she had hoped that by that time they would be the sole owners of the dogs. The Sheriff then said they had ‘jumped the gun’ somewhat.


Mrs Griffiths then asked again why, when they were in receipt of a legal KC document did they ignore it and continue to enter on line. She read an email from Mrs Cowan apologising for this oversight.




Interesting that you once said your family was involved with breeding dogs for over 100+ years yet don't seem to know how Joint ownership works but you do seem to know how try to deceive people out of their dogs by lying to them.

Spouting all the bs that you and your family are doing on here just shows exactly as i said previously priorities lie and it sure isn't with your animals. You just like to put on some kind of show for people and you think they are dumb enough to fall for it.


Just as before you get caught because your not good enough liars to get away with it and YOU say i lied.
