What sort of title is VP? Who grants it? Thanks.
by Brittany on 23 April 2007 - 08:04
VP is show rating for a puppy who participates in SV style conformation. It's somewhat like an SG (young untitled dogs get this rating). VP means very promising.
Correct me if I'm wrong :)

And what is the difference with VV ?
by Silbersee on 23 April 2007 - 12:04
No difference!
VV means vielversprechend, which is the German translation for very promising.

VP - very promising =
VV - vielversprechend
but please keep in mind, this is NO official show rating, it¿s not shown in the pedigrees and can¿t be used for breeding purpose - after all, a rating just for fun.
