hear a lot of different pricing, so im interested to hear what people in various regions/countries pay for;

wow those xrays are crazy, in holland about half of that and in Czech 80 €

pup registration to kennelclub:

This is a little complicated. You do litter registration and it's something like $25 + $2 per pup. Then each individual pup has to be registered for $25.

 

vaccinations:

The vaccinations themselves can be very cheap. For example, if I bought the vax myself and gave the shots, it would cost me $5-$15 per pup. Same with microchips, maybe $8 per chip. If I go through my vet, it ends up costing a lot more, but pups go home with a vet check. With a vet check, let's say it costs about $60 per pup for first shots and microchip, if I do a whole litter. If you take the pup back for subsequent shots, it will cost $40-$80 per visit.

 

Xrays:

 

To do hips and elbows and PennHip, it costs about $580. If I just did OFA xrays, it would cost me about $450. If I shop around, I could get the xrays done for maybe $300, but the quality isn't as good.

 

AI: The actual AI is usually around $150. Other stuff done at the same time adds up, though--such as a sperm check.

 

spermcheck: about $150

 

Ultrasound: $150

Progesterone through the repro vet: $80-$115. If I go through the local hospital, I can get it done for about $45.

Pup registration with AKC (not including litter registration) it is now $30 for registration transfer.
Rabies and Microchip at a clinic, $32.
Hips/elbows, all depends on where you go - my vet does hips/elbows/cardiac for $163 (I pay the OFA fees).
For a single xray view (like head count on a pregnant female) $53.
AI also depends on where you go and what type AI (surgical vs TC) can be $400-$800.
