I don't know all the details or whether or not it will effect the way the USCA selects judges. In a few weeks there is seminar scheduled in Germany that will lead to qualified AKC GSD  judges being approved to judge at SV shows. Dog1 may know more about this. All I know is that some AKC judges will be in attendance.

Margit van Dorrsen will be judging the Wesley Chapel Total Dog Training Club show, breed survey, and AD in Lutz, FL on December 5,6,7. Entries close on December 1st, so it you are thinking about entering under Margit, it's time to do it. Any questions, mail me - gone2dadawgs2001@yahoo.com

Now if they really want to be impressive make sure the attack on the handler is done properly the long bite is done properly and reinstate the vertical wall! Then there really doing something to strengthen the breed.

I´m with you about the attacks, but there is no wall on a Siegerschau, and thinking about my dogs joints I don´t wish the old wall back ( too many injuries...)

Susie:

Even KNPV still does the wall with a change 6 foot verticle and a table top and down a ramp. I already do that with all my dogs  6 foot vertical jump really should not be a joint issue. I,d bet your dogs could do a 6 foot vertical with out a issue set up as I stated. So should any dog with a working title would you agree with that?

As soon as there is a table top and a ramp I´m fine, it´s not about the jumping upwards, it´s about the jumping DOWNWARDS.
Every healthy German Shepherd has to be able to climb / jump a 6 foot wall, no question.
But I´ve seen too many injured dogs - I´m glad the "old" vertical wall is no longer existant.

The working GSD still needs to be Agile. I,d wager there are many who coul;d not make the jump any longer.
