You know shtal,
This man though I get his point is an extremist, you are an extremist, if you and he were to get married and adopt a child, just thing what a screwed up kid you'd raise.
Personally I never cared for the Pledge of Allegiance myself, being forced to say it made me feel like someone owned me, someone's obedient slave, a subject to a dictator, if you didn't say it bad things would happen to you.
This country is mine, I do not have to swear an oath every morning to prove I am an American.
As for God in our country, it is everywhere and most certainly political, you will see this change in time because Christianity is no longer the majority.
I didn't care for Obama using it yesterday either, or the jackass who gave the prayer at the inauguration.
Americans can believe what they want because we have a Constitution that upholds that right, the right to believe or not.
Obama swore on two bibles to uphold the Constitution, he lied to us and to god didn't he.
The only real problem are the extremists who try to force any view down our throats.
I think our schools should spend more time teaching and less time indoctrinating our children with nonsense.
Moons.
