It's because the citizens of Massachusetts decided to bring just a little teeny bit of bipartisanship back to the United States Senate.

What a win for those of us that are conservatives!!!!!!  What will Obama and the Socialist Libs do now?

Find a local "Tea Party" and get involved the conservatives must take our country back.

Micky D, congrats to the Republicans and particularly to Scott Brown who ran an excellent campaign as compared to Coakley who acted as if she had the right to the seat.

I have been following the election on the net from a location that is a good 10 hours ahead of you. Hard as it may be to believe, the Senate election is not even a footnote here which goes on to show that for much of the world we are not the center of the universe.  I have a feel for what is going on through the net although the connection speed leaves much to be desired. I allegedly have hi-speed internet but it appears to be more like slightly turbo-charged dial-up speeds!

As a politcal junkie, I am suffering withdrawal symptoms but OTOH, the weather is beautiful, the beaches are out of this world and I am glad to be missing the winter in Virginia for the next three months before we return to the US.

What a day!! President Obama thought being in Mass. was more important than helping those in Haiti.Hopefully we as Americans can get back to following the Constitution and not some Socialist goverment. I loved the guy dancing.. Glad to hear your dogs were tickled and excited..Sometimes having a tail lets everyone know how you are feeling..jc

"I am glad to be missing the winter in Virginia for the next three months before we return to the US."

KTF, you aren't missing much :0/  That said, at least the temps have come up into the milder ranges. And, as you know, the Mid-Atlantic can see its biggest snowfalls in March, so you may even see more global warming yet to come.

Hope you have a wonderful, wonderful time.  My dogs had a great time "celebrating" last night; even though they haven't a clue about the political process in this neck of the woods, they were perfectly willing to act silly along with the humans who were jumping up and down in front of the TV.

sometimes i think it must be a blessing to be as innocent as the dogs.  they know nothing of the corruption and manipulation that is going on.  they find joy in the master's happiness.  what pure hearts they have!!

what pure hearts they have!!

Amen to that, Ziegenfarm!  If we would take more lessons from our dogs; the world would be a better place.  However, I will draw the line at eating from the catbox
