Well, I think you are a very brave woman; you have a lot of inner-strength and are in survival mode.   I know it has to be very hard traveling with the dogs/walking/feeding/loading and unloading crates, etc.  On the positive side, they are your most loyal friends and your Body Guards.   Just try to stay positive and take it a day at a time....you will reach your destination in the very near future.   After going through all of this, anything else that is thrown your way will just be a "piece of cake."

Nothing much anyone can add to the two posts above, a very brave Girl with much on her hands with the Dogs and the weather plus the fact she has a heavy cold probably the Flu
Being alone takes a brave courageous lady to be able to do it, with help she will make it and we must all she that she does, again those living on route put yourselves out to go and meet her and go along with her for a few miles that will keep her spirits up no end if that could happen, Go steady and do not over do it we are all with you if not in the flesh, but i wish i was over there to help you get to where you want to go

You go girl, but slowly. Shelly if you stop at a pharmacy get some "AIR BORNE" I swear by that stupid stuff, It really does work. You are suppose to take it the first minute you feel something coming on and it goes away. It will help. Also Cheap.

I haven't posted on this site in quite some time, even had to get a new login, that said, Shelly is working on starting a new life and , that can be a difficult path.

A suggestion for SS, people have been helpful, and gerorous to you, make sure you take the time to thank them in public. A place to stay when you get to CA, a set of wheels to get you there, and a place to stay while you were still  in PA, think of where you would be without these folks and make sure everyone knows who they are

Shelley the spirit of change is in your favor, I know it, for I saw a sign last night that I am sure will give you hope or at least a smile. We all went to the famous franchise hamburger place, called "5 GUYS", during halftime. They only sell burgers, hotdogs and french fries and they give you peanuts to munch while you wait for your order. Anyway, they always have a big white-rite board that announces where the spuds of the day come from, just to let us know they are fresh and the best. Imagine my surprise when the sign said, "The potatoes today come from, SHELLEY, IDAHO. "

Onward and westward you go, girl!
