You can't talk excellent reputation without mentioning KIRSCHENTAL. 53 YEARS of experience -- breeder of a SIEGER (out of a VA working line mother!), and many many Herding Trial winners and a world-wide reputation for quality dogs. I believe they placed #6 in the Kennel Competition last year. There are others, I am sure -- small operations, with quality animals - some we never hear about - because at the good places - the pups are all reserved before they're born - and not everybody is willing to wait 6-9 months for a puppy.

My name is Lynn Jergson. We bought a puppy from GuttenHaus Kennels and were very pleased with our whole experience. Sue Bidgood the owner of GuttenHaus was very imformative and knowledable. She runs a very clean kennel, her dogs are very well trained and have excellent temperments. They are beautiful dogs and she works them in schutzhund, SAR and AKC. She fully guarantees her dogs and will take them back for any reason. She is very concerned about where her puppies go. She is highly reccommended buy many vets and has outstanding references. She stands behind her dogs 100% and we are very pleased with our dog.

In the UK they are nearly all the best. That is if you believe what they write on their web sites

dante6 I would recommend Carakris Kennels owned by carol & Brian Mcmurray in my opinion they are amongst the best when it comes to caring about the breed and they certainly won't rip you off.Two of the nicest people I have ever met in this breed
