Not doubting at all. I just like to see the WHOLE dog. A picture and a title can only tell a small portion of a total dog. I was hoping this dog would have video of his working, so that I too could say he is the "2009 Superstar".

The Dog was born June 2006 and he has already sired 8 litters???? maybe expecting something spectacular from a dog whos father is wellknown, but even his own mother is only Sch1.  Nice looking dog, but he is not the total dog in my standards, and not enough to give the best of 2009 rating....

Nuchko -

If you do your math and you know what an "EZ" means, this will tell you that Banderas in Braunschweig was in the class of 12-18 months which do not have a bitework!! Bitework is for above 24months!!

Most Shepherd bitches in Germany are no more than Sch1.

Vipul sounds rather enthusiastic... super star... there's not too many of them around... all of mine have been / are of course! lol

Why do you keep repeating this dog has a SchHII as if that is the end of the story?  We understand the dog has a schHII, but to those of us that understand the work, we need to see him work in order to determine whether or not he is a "superstar".

I dont have a current video that shows his bitework but i hope to get one very soon and i'll post it to all of you guys. I have seen this dog's bitework in his Korung!! He is as good as his father Vegas!! For all who know the work of "Leo Behrens" from the Von Streek Kennel, they know that this guy is one of the best trainers and he is a very serious guy at work!!

This is a comment taken from Banderas page in the PDB of one of the persons who used him for a stud!!

Vipul, I think the dog is beautiful in the videos but the photo doesn't do him justice.  Isn't there a handler around that knows how to stand a dog?

by Vipul on 30 December 2008 - 17:12

Missbeeb, I wish they had one because his older photo was veeery good. In the most recent one, he matured big time and his pigmentation became even stronger but I hope that they will change it soon to another one that will bring out all his qualities! As you said, Banderas looks muc better in flesh than he does in this photo. Check out his older on when he was 13months old
