I would like to find out the Codes of Ethics about this subject I can't find it , is there anything in writing that Raffling of GS is unethical?

I have a copie of the advertising , I also have the breeders name etc. Can I post it here?

I believe it is unethical to do this with our Breed or any breed.

But then they consider themselfs as TOP BREEDERS.

I hate to see any kind of raffling of animals.  Not the best way to screen your buyers is it?

These breeders should be named and shamed, but if they can stoop to raffeling off pups they probably would not even care what anyone else thinks.Thank God we not all like that.

There is no general code of eithics for dog breeders. Some clubs have their own but they are almost impossible to enforce. If you have been following the way the big players are intimidating those who complained about their dogs' poor performances at the US sieger show, then you can imagine how they would carry on if they were sanctioned due to violating a code of ethics.  Any club daring to take a stand against them would be sued, plain and simple.

I'm sure sooner or later someone will be jumping on the bandwagon defending the raffling of puppies especially when the identities of the breeders are made known.

So fill us in!  Who is it?

Kudos to you, Delcruz, for walking the walk. If this person is a member of the GSDCA AND a signer of their breeder's code, then they are in violation and will be sanctioned by that club I think. However, if they either are not a member OR did not sign the breeder's code, then they are home free.

This is one of the pups, this pup is actually a LC but was shaved down as you can tell

they have a whole list on Puppy find listed under Holistica German Shepherds.

This is the Advertising I don't know if you can make this bigger to read.

I couldn't find mention of a raffle on puppyfind.com but I did giggle at their prices after going to their

website.

My word, where did those prices come from  ...Do they really get that for those dogs I saw on Puppy find...

Who are these people...top breeders I never heard of....I couldnt make much out of the puppy find..you cant find out much if you are not signed up...

Does anyone have dogs from these people>?  4 ,500.00 for a dog at 11 mos old with one ear down  .???????

No pedigrees and some are long coat....which doesnt bother me...but the prices are out of the ghord .  Without seeing data on each dog , hard to say  much more.

Raffling two pups?   like playing Bingo for a prize....
