This past weekend, I saw an Affenhuahua.  Affenpinscher/Chihuahua mix.  That was different.

Well I saw an ad for shepherddoodles! Yes I am serious. I believe it was also on Hoobly. Made me sick to my stomach :(

Its certainly bullshit from the people that are breeding these cross breeds and then giving them a name to get lots of money for them.  They must find some real onions from somewhere willing to pay it as far as I`m concerned.

*lol* Shepadoodles have been around for a long time. I find all of these "designer dogs" to be utterly ridiculous. I had a shipmate bragging about one of her dogs once. She was telling me she spent $750 on a purebred YorkiePoo with AKC papers. I told her she just bought an over-priced mutt that came with its own piddle-pad; the AKC doesn't register mutts, and if the breeder told her that, she got hosed big time. I still think the best hybrids are shelter dogs.

The wackiest ones I've heard of: a Ba-Shar. It's a basset x shar-pei; also sometimes called a "mini-walrus." I guess they are running out of new things to breed with poodles.

It is terrible when people can't take the time to "BREED" quality purebred stock, so they just try to invent breeds to make some more money.  It is unbeleivable how unhealthy some of those designer dogs can be, I know some people that have had to pay insane vet bills.

People are just making money out of crossbreds .The people who buy them must be crazy ..........
