If you are force feeding a dog, something is very wrong. The dog must be sick. Do you have a veterinarian in your country? Where do you live? In all your posts your questions seem like you know very little about dogs. I think it is very important for you to find a good dog doctor and also find someone in your country to help you.

If the dog is healthy and does not have parasites, just making sure it has plenty of CLEAN drinking water, also free of parasites, will be fine. Dogs will NOT starve themselves. You should feed an appropriate amount of food. If the dog does not want to eat it, pick it back up and either put it in a refrigerator to keep it fresh, or throw it out. Do not feed food that has been sitting around for more than an hour in a hot climate. I would pick it up after 10 minutes.
Is the dog inside during these temperatures? Does it have shade outside from the sun? If not, this is very bad for the dog. German Shepherds were not meant to live in terribly hot climates.

How do you force feed a dog??
by hewetz on 13 May 2008 - 14:05
Try to feed the dogs in the night, when the temperature is coming down. Give them tasteful food, so what doe you feed?
Try some soup from cooked bones, this is especially working in picky eaters. As Hodie pointed out, force feeding is only appropriate in ill dogs, of course it may affect the character of the dog. I have sometimes the situation in the kennel, that young males nearly stop eating, when always a bitch is in heat. So they have to learn to cope with this situation!
Some years ago we had to force feed a young male because he had considerable weight loss in the a.m. situation. Only one person did it to whom this dog had a very good relationship.
Can we further help you?

Hello,
This will be worste way, because if a dog is anot sick it will eat itself. You do not need to force it to eat.
Take care. A puppy dog may avoide food for 2 to 3 days because of its teething problems or it might be suffering from fever etc.
During the period a dog or a baby dog is suffering from sickness it should not be feeded forcefully, but during these types of conditions do not forget to give it water plus glucose time to time.

no force feeding is not helpful for a dog .Keep him cool make sure he has plenty of water .But do not force feed .Take him to the vet and make sure he is ok .And feed when temperature is cooler at a night or early morning .Force feeding is very bad.
