Again, who knows what happened to the check. Clearly one was purchased on the date Jen said it was and made out to Christine, otherwise, the bank would not have notified her when the stop payment was issued. They also would not have issued a stop payment had the check been cashed so it's also clear that that wasn't the case.
At the end of the day, the pup is in a good home and Teufel gets the money that Jen was trying to refund her anyway. The rest of this is just drama...on which you all seem to thrive.

Well I am glad that TH is going to get her money back. Justice has been served and Hunger is a good mother, what a great post this has been.

You asked something in an earlier post about how this mess got to this point between the two parties involved. My guess would be that when one of the parties trashes the other all over the internet claiming abuse and making it sound like the puppy was half beaten to death it is going to end up like this. Problems like this should IMO, be discussed between the two people privately where hopefully an amicable resolution can be reached
