Unbelievable! Never believe in pictures....
This I found quite interesting http://izzet.com/videos/2202/shoulder-anatomy-german-shepherd-dog

This is approximate
Determine points number 1 & 4, mark them
Then determine line number 3, the withers line (area)
Then determine the line number 2, the top blade line, little away from the withers, in a well laid back shoulder it will be where I drew it.

The direction of blade bone goes with the line drawn from point 1 and upper third point of line 2, I made line 2 thinner here so you see where the dark blue line touches the shoulder blade top.

then from pint 1 go little bit up on the blue line and mark point number 5, that is shoulder point/joint
by Ibrahim on 15 April 2014 - 20:04
Now draw a line between points 4 & 5, this is the front upper arm
by Ibrahim on 15 April 2014 - 20:04
Here I re made line 2 thicker again as in first picture
You can now draw the imaginary line between points 2 & 4, then from point 4 to joint at start of pastern (this is front leg bone). You are done
The imaginary vertical line in a super front assembly passes from top shoulder blade to elbow to pastern joint, straight and vertical. By actually feeling bones of dog with fingers and practicing drawing the lines, it gets easier and more precise. But still what we are doing is approximate and live watching dog trotting is the most precise way to judge anatomy.

Susie, I have the complete set, Carbajal is one of the best. But that clip should not be on the net, it is right protected. Maybe it is a short clip only?

Unfortunately, The German Way set has been pirated and is (illegally) available from many sites. I bought discs 3 and 4 and the information was well worth the purchase price.

I bought all 4 DVDs, I learned a lot from them, that man is really a genius, I will try to buy the book Blitzen mentioned earlier.
