My pleasure ? Your guess is wrong. A lawless person is an anarchist, I am not an anarchist. I am for limited government as per the Constitution.
You make it sound like I would rob and bust into people's houses and property to get what I want. No I wouldn't, but I would be out finding something laying around for those people !!!! Glad I live where I do though, seriously. Being in a city or heavy populated area isn't for me.
If a survival situation happened on this mountain, everyone who doesn't belong in these parts would be shot before getting near my property. Except the National Guard we gave them right of way routes years ago. Strangers would never make it past the Schulz family or Muller brothers for one. Hell they shoot at people now. lol

"Looting would be an everyday mission." I kind of went by what you said BE4U. Scavenging is what it sounds like you are backpeddling towards? That would be totally different, I think, too. I have a big smile thinking about your claim , "...everyone who doesn't belong in these parts would be shot before getting near my property."
Reminds me, recently... I did write this before LOL.... "Trespassers will be shot on sight!" ...close enough any way, lol, or maybe it should be "site"? Protecting our own, eh? Makes whatever "I" do OK, since it is OK when you do it!

SM was correct, people had warning, but what they lack is practical experience with hurricanes, unlike those in the Gulf states who experience hurricanes yearly.
Anyone living in a major city should realize how vulnerable they are in large scale disaster, people are stupid about such things, and totally dependent on the system.
Most people who know better leave and get away from a hurricane before it arrives.
Looting is survival because you risk your life to loot, and there is a difference between ransacking a grocery store and taking from individuals, either one can get you killed.
I'm kinda like BabyEagle, if disaster strikes don't plan on coming into my neck of the woods either, unless you have something to offer, people anywhere will protect what's theirs.
FEMA is the biggest waste of tax payers dollars and should have never been created in the first place.
I agree BabyEagle, less government, less dependency, better educated and better prepared.
Nothing I see in the news is either new or unexpected.

Very sad indeed.
BE & Moons are the new Robin Hood & Maid Merriam. How nice.
They will be coming to a disaster near you soon.

Also news Analysists say there is no actual and real government in the States, all is given and done through contractors, so maybe Black Waters is to blame in addition to the governor.
