Steve1972 I will answer your question on the why a dog will not be a purebred GSD with the Q AKC Conditional Registration. AKC GSDs are not a purebred dog if generations back a dog does not DNA back to their sire. AKC was not jusified to allow these dogs into the GSD breed registry by adding the letter Q on GSDs should reconsider this.
Here is an example as this dog did not DNA back to his sire. His progeny on the PDB have been marked or removed from the PDB.

Back to my original question. Where could I send my pups dna sample for verification of Mondo being the sire? His name is on the AKC registration certificate but anyone could name their dog the same. I’m thinking there is some sort of verification process to prove lineage of these highly desireable stud dogs. DNA testing would be the best way to do that with a foreign (to the U.S.) stud dog.
