This thread  was deleted, and it had some really good stuff on it.
I was the last one to post, so I will try to remember what I said.

" For the record my post are my post,  I have not received any PM's from anyone, even Phil and he said he would.
Any time a child takes their life it is tragic, very sad.  The people who were close to her said
she was under a great deal of fear. Whether people call you names, Bully, troll, shit, it means
nothing , because you know what you know and no one can take that away from you by calling
a name."

Since I posted on that thread, I have got some very good PM's, one from Phil.

This thread was posted by Maggie the day before yesterday and she said she did
not delete it. With the other crap I have read this just puzzled me.

It is like the whole world has just got rotten, and everybody is a little guilty.

The world is sick and getting sicker. All you have to do is keep your chin up and sometimes (I admit) it's a good idea to keep your mouth shut.. but I have a hard time doing that.

It is very sad that a young girl felt desparate enough to take her own life.  That said, bullies should not be able to bring you to such a state, young or old.  Evidently, she didn't have enough self-esteem to be able to speak to someone - her parents and those "close" to her.  Children are coddled way too much and I think that's part of the problem.  Everything has to be equal now and nobody can lose at anything, lest others bruise their ego.  Thus, egos are not only more easily bruised, now there is no experience as ammunition to fight it.  Now, we're blaming suicide on others!  Hello!  Suicide is a choice, pity or not.  She didn't have the right guidance to know or see that it wasn't the only choice, and that it would pass.  The girl needed help and either didn't know how or where to get it, or was ill to begin and nobody "close" to her saw the signs.  You will lose and be bullied all of your life, unless you have enough power or money.  You must learn to deal with the toughest parts of your life and move on.  Personal responsibility and self worth are what should be taught, and standing up for yourself, or moving aside.  If there's anyone to blame, it's the school, the parents and the close family friends who should have known her well enough to read the signs... not make the bullies go away, but teach her how to face them.  I know that may be easier said than done, but in the end, it's what makes us strong enough to face the next battle, for the rest of our lives.  JMHO

One has to confront bullies to end their abuse, there is no other way. People standing idly by is what gives the bully power. The adults in the teens life let her down regardless of the responsibility for her suicide being her own act.

Bullying in US schools has actually dropped since intensive anti-bullying programs have been introduced after the Columbine massacre. Any death of a teenager is tragic. This one has a cruel element that makes us face the ugly side of humanity, and perhaps that is what Jon Luc means by us all being a "little guilty."

To which child are you referring? Someone known to this list or community?

It's the one in the news, being bullied at school, commited suicide, very sad.  Teenager who was new to the area.

Phoebe was the child I was referring to.

We should not get sucked in by forum bullies the way teens do. With teens everything is drama, and I think there's a special place in hell for people who bully them. But adults should just not respond to bullying. It will go away. Feeding trolls and bullies is what gives these people a reason to live. An ADULT should be able to turn away from that nonsense.

VomMarischal:  We as adults  are also gulible.  Seems we have been on here, too.

Are you speaking of this  forum post today on the German shepherd side? Many here chimed in with him in his bullying of Hamsza,  even though the young man did wrong.

This man was and is dangerous. He showed some very radical threats to a lady named   Annamay, claiming to be a judge,  on here  last year only to be discovered to go kill his gsd and pups after being arrested ., according to this post on here.
