I really appreciate all the good feedback, also the private message from Mr Darcy, you guys have given me hope ! Lol..... as hard and ruff as she is, the good thing is this, she trust me and definitely respects me so Im able to handle her all over with no issues, so I will be there the entire time through all of this, and yes her kongo ball definitely gives her comfort for some reason, but I cant leave it in there all the time because she will destroy it and eat it ! she's done it before.
I wish I could figure out how to attach a pic and Id show ya'll my set up.. its pretty good I think.

Thank you to every one for your good advice !

See - it does help to ask specific queries, and give some background, in order to get responses !

The only thing I would add to what has been contributed is this: that sometimes bitches can surprise you, by acting totally different when they have pups on the ground. You may find she calms down A LOT, without you having to do much at all, just because she now has puppies to look after; even though this is her first litter. Some new mothers I have known over the years have been VERY different when they have babies; others not so much. All dogs are individuals. You may only know when you walk into the whelping room and rather than jump up to see you she just lies there suckling and gives you 'the Look' !

Oh, and that 'cannabalism' thing ?  I have come across a couple of females who hurt or killed their puppies (but only one I knew of which actually ate any of them). (NOT dogs in my own care, fortunately).  We usually worked out why, eventually. In two cases it was almost assuredly and inevitably a genetic trait - which if the pedigrees had been properly studied before breeding might have been avoided;  another litter had just been kept at too high a temperature - there is 'warmth' and then there can be TOO warm.  But the important thing to note is that, no matter who put the idea in your head that this was a W/L 'thing', it really isn't.  Dogs of all 'lines' can be involved.

I am taking her to have X rayed on Friday, she should be 50 days along by then, being my 1st time to have one whelp pups Id definitely like to know when she's had the last one, so Im hoping my vet can tell me exactly how many pups she is carrying, honestly Im a little worried since she's been so ripping active up until last week when I found out she was actually pregnant that she might have done some damage.... I just didn't think she was, I WAS WRONG !
Since then I haven't allowed her to run and get ruff, but that isn't easy.
I live in Montana so its cold, but I have a heated garage, inside of it I have a 5x10 kennel set up in there with linoleum beneath it, and a 4x4 whelping box inside of the kennel with blankets also, I can get this area pretty warm,,,, up to 80 degrees. Also Ive been taking her temp... its been 100.4 the last two days, which I thought was low ?
Im going to check twice a day until delivery, when it drops below 99 Im assuming she is within 12-24 hours of whelping. THIS IS RIDICULOUS ! .... I will never do this again.
But I love my girl so I'm doing all I can to insure she has no problems.

And the hard work hasn't even started yet. Wait until they are a fortnight old and get their eyes open and can start to get around ! Puppy rearing isn't all up to the bitch, and it certainly isn't for the faint-hearted in humans ;-D

" THIS IS RIDICULOUS ! .... I will never do this again." lol, lol, lol. bet you do, lol. Calm down, relax, as Hundmutter says the fun has yet to begin.....but oh so worth it when you see those puppies go off to their, hopefully, forever homes. Keep asking questions here/vet etc. on anything you're not sure about, someone will be able to help....but ask!!

Anyway she can have her pups inside the house? You are worried about her high energy and not being careful around the pups. You have a better chance to watch her in The house then out in the garage unless you plan to move in the garage.

Just a thought since your do worried. Hope the delivery is safe for mom and pups.

This ! What mrDarcy says.

Ooo, something else you might want to consider: if you are still fretting about her jumping around, have you got a pig-rail around the inside of the whelping box ? Some people like them, some don't - but if you do have a very active mom, the rail (under which a pup can get right to the side of the box where it is away from flying feet) can be a good idea.

As for as moving her to the house... Im not going to do that because the garage is attached and heated, plus I have a really nice baby monitor with two way sound, and if I suspect ANYTHING from her demeanor that worries me I will set up a cot in the garage.
As for as the work after the pups are born goes... Im not worried in the least about that, as long as they get born safe and healthy... and my Female "Kruzz" is a good mom.

I will say this.... you people that do this on a regular basis and breed these type high drive working dogs, YOUR NOT CHARGING ENOUGH MONEY !!!!!! I wouldn't do this on a regular basis for $10k a puppy, NO WAY.... but hopefully all will go well, and yes my whelping box does have the pig rail around the edge about 4" off the floor.

Im optimistic but Im freaking ready to get through the whelping day.
I appreciate ya'll !

Not trying to be rude but why did u breed her then?? You previously posted on here trying to get her pregnant then asking info on whelping a new litter now this post. Now your saying how can anybody do this for a living. Again not trying to be rude but... like I said I hope all goes well.
