Three times in the last week, I've have gotten pop up windows and new tabs and prompts to download/click on malware when looking at this PDB. Anyone else? I figure this is probably from the google ads, but I thought I'd check and see if anyone else was affected.

I had these issues bad enough to the point where I downloaded Adblock Plus.... haven't had it since. I know the Admins hate it, but it's that or quit coming to the site entirely, IMO. It got that bad.

I can't even begin to help 1. please if you are going to make these claims - at least provide a screenshot. 2. I can't possibly know what you see on your computer. I am not using ad block and never see what you are seeing. Koots - can you provide a screenshot of what you are seeing?

The ad in the top left corner of this site was causing me such terrible problems I finally had to switch to Google Chrome and download AdBlock. The German Shepherd ads still appear, but that awful video ad at the top is gone.

I never had problems with it playing when I didn't want it to when I had windows 7. It would just prevent the site from loading, or cause it to hang when I was in the middle of a post.

Once I upgraded to the most recent version of Windows, it would play whenever it wanted to, and there was no way to stop it. The site would still freeze on me sometimes, and it was even harder to get my computer unfrozen than with the previous version of Windows.

Since I installed AdBlock, I've had no problems whatsoever.

I get malware pop-ups maybe three times a day (on a bad day) from this site while I'm on my cellphone. I don't think I'll be able to take a picture, but I will try.

I'll screenshot the next time it happens.

From what I can gather, these are ads and not malware. Malware is going to install something to your computer that isn't nice. Lets try and use the correct terminology because unless I am missing something here, these aren't MALWARE problems but instead are problems with advertising.

I think it's an ad popping up a page that wants to install malware--not actual malware from the ad. I get a new tab opened and then a popup asking me to OK it and if I close it out, it pops up again instantly, so you can't go to any other pages or even close the page that popped up. I think I've gotten out by selecting "don't let this page open any more popups" and then closing out of the tab.

Really, I don't know for sure that it's an ad on PDB, but it does seem to be the common factor and to occur shortly after a PDB tab is opened.
