Problem is that they *obsess* with it. I've seen it first hand, funny to watch, but not fun for the dog. They don't get any "closure" for catching something that is there one second, but not the next.

That's one of the most stupid/detrimental things you can do to a dog.

Every dog deserves better than beeing raised by a moron with a laser pen.

It's a form of OCD. Agree with Allan, only a lazy moron would consider that fair play with a dog.
