Limited AKC registration restricts breeding and subsequent registration of the dog's offspring with the AKC .... not showing to the best of my knowledge. Some breed book based organizations restrict the showing of neutered animals ( SV and perhaps GSDCA shows under the SV WUSV banner ?? ) but AKC has no such restrictions for their events. As far as IPO goes the DVG is all breed and has no breeding restrictions so neutered or non-breeding eligible dogs can be trialed. In general only those organizations that make money off of breeding and registrations care whether your dog can be bred due to neutering or their phoney baloney paper work that they make money from selling. I have no idea about the UKC.

Bubba, you can trial a neutered dog within SV, there is no restriction.

I was asking, Because I only wish to let my pups go, with limited AKC. Some new owners do wish to show and try to get titles on the pups/dogs (with UKC). I just wanted more info on how that worked. My 12 yr. old daughter wants to show (UKC)and get as many titles on our young girl ,as we can this summer too! I thank all of you for the info. The young female, my 12 yr. old daughter wants to show (EshelmanSchwitz Aura Vom Ansbach)

Per the AKC website: "A dog registered with an AKC Limited Registration shall be ineligible to be entered in a breed competition in a licensed or member dog show. It is eligible, however, to be entered in any other licensed or member event. These events include: Obedience, Tracking, Field Trials, Hunting Tests, Herding, Lure Coursing, Agility and Earthdog." http://www.akc.org/register/limited-registration/
