| Hi, for those more informed than myself, was wondering what the International Champion title is/means.... I have seen some dogs with marginal conformation with this title (and I am a working line person-but familiar with correct structure) with these titles so not really sure what they are...just curious, thanks for the information!! |

| IABCA hosts these shows. They have judges from different countries who give a written critique on your dog. You sit down with each judge and they go over what their written critque says and answer any questions. They also rate the dog. Most are given a V unless they have obvious faults. The point is to judge the dog according to the standard, not against other dogs. I have been to one and honestly enjoyed it. Meeting judges from different countries and hearing their different view points was interesting. |

| It's definitely not a substitue for an SV rating, though LOL. I have seen some silly people who don't know what they're doing try to use the V rating from IABCA in place of the SV. These are usually the people who don't realize you have to have a working title to get a V. Seriously, almost every dog gets the V at IABCA unless it's a glaringly obvious fault. |

Furthermore, you have to get judged under at least 3 different judges, get your written critique by each judge, then submit your 3-4 scores to get your iNTNL Ch title. You have to have at least 3 V ratings to recieve your Ch title. |
