I’m looking for 11X11 matting for outdoor kennel. I bought the puzzle type outdoor flooring but the nut case kept chewing it up.

Not looking to spend a lot. Thanks

I used horse stall mats from Tractor Supply, very heavy duty.

Thanks a bit over budget and I don’t trust pieces put together with my destroyer. Looking for 1 piece 11x11. Easy to roll out.

I made a frame and used pavers to make the base. Pavers are $1 when on sale. I needed 122 total. The frame is made with treated lumber. I think it was around $350 total. Not as good as having pads poured, but that wasn’t an option down at the farm.

Great job on your flooring

Thanks! As you can see, I always have plenty of help around the farm. I saw these three feet wide rolls of black rubber matting at my TSC. Not sure of the price, but that may be an option if you can figure out how to keep it held down.

Those rubber rolled matting from the feed store are fairly heavy, but not chew proof. My puppy has chewed one up as well. But the actual stall mats will be fine, just they are about 40 to 50 dollars each. Nice idea with the pavers.

I may have to check Lowe’s. I’ve seen some matting on huge rolls. This puppy is a nut case in the kennel and having the concrete is not good for her.

Several years ago I bought stall mats that were 6x12  almost an inch thick and very heavy. Could you use two of those, lay them down and put the kennel on top to hold edges away from young teeth.

You could if they would go through use nursery pins on the seam or some kind of spike.

I will look into the stall mats. Thanks for all ideas.
