Sunsilver- I recall hearing about this story on here not too long ago. But honestly IMO a true PPD shouldn't react that was just from someone jogging over your way calling your name. A well trained dog PPD with the acceptable genetics and temperment should know the difference of a real threat or be able to rely on the command his handler gives to alert him to the threat. I learned very early on that having control over your dog is essential especially when you have a dog trained to bite. The obedienc MUST be more than above average as safety should always be your primary concern to cut back on the already liability factors. |
