I responded to a ad on GSD Data Base for purchasing a LH GSD. This was back in 2017 fist quarter. I was searching for quality dogs to start a companion kennel for individuals with motion disorders. This purchase was thru a broker named David
Casarez with Von Bluhen. The second female arrived very skinny and I was going to have her replaced. The third dog was a bred female which died several days after arrival. I took her to the vets for a autopsy and found out that not only was she not pregnant she had never been pregnant. David and I had words just as the previous complainants on this site and instead of backing me up after all the trouble I had he told me not to contact him any more. I contacted the breeder myself and another associate at the Serbian kennel agreed to help me. I have been waiting sine last Aug to get a replacement. I should state that I had about $7000.00 tied up in the female that died. I also have a contract signed by David guaranteeing her health and pregnancy. The dog that they came up with is supposed to be bred. I asked David to provide me with a contract guaranteeing
her hips and elbows and pregnancy. I was told there would be no guarantee as she was a replacement dog. The cost of flying her into Dallas would be $2200. This would be from Budapest. This cost is supposed to be paid by me. What do you think about this. I recommend that you ck out your broker and any complaints against them. I found out too late what a sham this was. Selling unseen dogs as top of the line. I have kept all emails and vet reports.

Let's see if we can put this in order with some facts and proof.

You bought 3 dogs about a year ago, did you buy them all at the same time

First dog no complaints, correct

Second dog was to skinny. Was this as she got off the plane.  Did she have a health certificate, she could not fly without one and the airlines are very strict as to the condition of animals that fly on their planes so how skinny could she be.

Did you get her checked out within a few days of arrival with your Vet, what was her weight.

Third dog died. Your Vet says not pregnant but you do not say what the Vet said she died of.

You say she was a bred female which does not mean pregnant another place you say you have guarantee that she was pregnant.  Which is it.

Rarely even if the buyer is really nice is a guarantee offered on a replacement dog, and they are expected to pay for shipping costs.

Most times to get a replacement you are required to send back at your expense the animal you do not want, are you.

Now for you to show some kind of proof of wrong doing or that the breeder is being unfair.

Ranchlady you need to answer questions about your accusations and have proof to back them up.

Buyer scammers will not be tolerated anymore than seller/breeder scammers.

Administrator Western Rider

Why would you say that I am scamming with this report. The site is for reporting problems and getting advice from other members. I stated in my report that I kept all emails and vet report. The female was guaranteed to be pregnant. A Ultrasound was sent to me as proof. I have a contract guaranteeing her health and pregnancy. This is not the first time this has happened with the individual involved.
I have $7000 tied up in this dog. The vet report stated that she was not pregnant nor had she been He knew this because of the size of the uterus. He could not tell how she died could be heart or bacterial infection
due to heat causing rapid decomposition. The second female I received a 1 out of 5 for body condition and weight. I took pictures and sent them to the broker.  I tookher to the vet 2nd day after arrival.
and he agreed her condition was terrible. I was going to send her back but I became attached to her and let the breeder off the hook. The broker became difficult to work with when I reported that the female was not pregnant. I worked with the Serbian kennel myself and a breeder there was assisting me with a replacement dog. Since so much time had passed I accepted a female that is not IPO 1 as the female that died. You state that you do not receive a guarantee on a
replacement dog. If I pay the flight I will have spent $9200 . It does not seem fair to me that there is no guarantee unless the original contract covers this.

ranchlady, you need to send copies of your documentation to Western Rider via private message--don't post them in this thread, as that's in violation of the TOS--and the admins will review the info.

If everything is as you say, then the admins will confirm that in a post on this thread, and call on the seller to provide proof of rebuttal.

The admins don't take anyone's word as gospel--neither the buyer's nor the seller's. Everyone has to supply proof.

I do not know what the issue is. She is getting a replacement female regardless of why the female died but I am not having my nephew deliver her as she wanted and she will have to cover shipping which is $2,200 if flown to Dallas or $1,600 if to Houston. Marie Wilson was already offered an IPO1 female that was confirmed pregnant back in August but she refused it. The reason that this has been such a long process is that we were waiting on another IPO1 female to become available.

Ranchlady as Hexe says you need to show proof if you wish the chance to ruin another persons name and business.

I have not called you a scammer or your post.  I have said Buyer scammers will not be tolerated anymore than seller/breeder scammers.

I have given you time to show proof of all your claims and have not yet received anything from you by PM and you have not answered my post here.

Let's start with dog Number two as dog Number 1 was according to you.

Number 2 was taken to your vet within 2 days of arrival she was skinny and was said to within in a month whelp and had 4 healthy pups. This is the female you were going to send back. Were you going to do that before or after she whelped and if after were you sending the pups back too.

Now tell us what was wrong with her that causes you to feel ripped off.

Then we can talk about Number 3 female.

Adm Western Rider. I posted a response to you this afternoon. I work a 40 head horse farm during the day as well as holding a nursing job 3 12 hr shifts a week. I am surprised at the hostility you have show in your emails . I will never report an unjust situation again. David did not offer me a bred IPO1 female. The kennel breeder did but they could not get her bred. It was the kennel breeder who opted to find another dog. I will be emailing you the contract and vet report. According to an attorney the situation is theft by misrepresentation. I am saying that David dropped the ball and got angry with me because I was complaining about the amount of money I put into this dog and the lack of support. I had to deal with the Sellers kennel. You have had similar complaints in the past. I am not trying to ruin anyone's reputation. I have read many a complaint about buying overseas and they proved to be right. I liked David and bought several dogs from him. Everyone had issues except the first one. I will follow thru and send the vet report and contract to you. You may remove my post I was trying to find out what other people thought. I also have a number of emails in my defense but this is all I can get out quickly.  On the female that was so skinny ,  she did have four puppies ,  one died.  I contacted the breeder and let him know I was going to keep the female so he did not owe me a dog. He was very thankful because he saw the pics and he knew there was a problem.  You know it is the buyers that keep the GSD alive.  To be treated like the bad guy after sinking $20,000 into dog purchases.  Did David tell you they refused at first to make good on the dog.

Ranchlady let us put the record straight I have not ever emailed you let alone a hostile email.

You made a post about a person and their business that could potentially ruin them with no facts not even a coherent recap of the events.  Would you want someone to say to the world that  you Nurse so and so touched their child inappropriately with no facts or proof.  What would happen to you and your work future, even if proven innocent, it is not so good anymore.

The Admins of this site do not want anyone using this site to promote a scam of any kind and giving PDB a bad name if we can help it.. So yes we want proof, facts and a coherent statement of those and answers when we ask for them.

My first post to you was an attemp to get the facts straight and to let you know that most replacement pup/dogs do not get a guarantee and you would be paying for shipping cost of said replacement and generally you would return the original dog again at your cost.
